Ambrose is Professor in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences and Director of the Environmental Science and Engineering Program at the University of California, Los Angeles. Megan N. Dethier is a Research Associate Professor in the Biology Department at the University of Washington and is in residence at the Friday Harbor Laboratories.

The present book is a wonderfull piece of research who helps to my students a lot. I highly recomend this book for people who wants to understand ecological design because is clearly written with a vocabulary that you need a minimum of knowledge in ecology to use it.
