Review
"Cutter is my favourite Jackson brother. Big, bossy, strong, opinionated and loving... He's firmly at the helm of things in the Jackson empire, and everyonefalls in line quite nicely, thank you very much. Well, mostly." (Sharon, Australian Romance Readers Association feature review)
"Pro: Kelly Hunter book. Cons: ugh." (B+ from Bam Galace, The Good, The Bad, and The Unread) --My favourite book review ever. Clever, imaginative, rapier funny and deliciously critical.
From the Author
Hi Readers,
I was aiming for a particular kind of guy in Cutter Jackson. A man of easy confidence and a thorough awareness of what he brings to a relationship. He's easy on the eye and has a strong regard for family. He has a liking for women, and I mean that in the purest sense. He likes what they bring to his alpha-driven, physical world. He's open to them. And when finally he finds the one he wants, he's all in. I hope you like him.
I've one more book to write in this series--big brother Nash's story, and then it's done.

Book 1: The Courage of Eli Jackson (Previously titled The Honeymoon Trap. Publishers Weekly - one of the 20 Best Books of 2014)
Book 2: The Heart of Caleb Jackson (Previously titled Sympathy for the Devil. Romance Writers of Australia - ELLA Finalist 2015)
Book 3: The Downfall of Cutter Jackson (Previously titled A Bad Boy for Christmas)
From the Inside Flap
A guy walked beside him, same dark hair and rangy build as Caleb, same height, possibly a fraction taller. And when he turned towards them and Cutter got a load of his face--
Same face he saw every morning when he looked in the goddamn mirror.
"Who the hell are you?" Cutter watched in growing disbelief as his doppelganger spared a look for the woman in the doorway and with the slightest shift of his head, told her to get gone.
She didn't budge.
"My brother asked you a question." Eli broke the silence, his gaze fixed on the man at Caleb's side.
The man scowled and ran a hand across the back of his neck, and there was a gesture Cutter knew intimately. This--whoever he was--had Cutter's face and his habits.
"The name's Nash."
Even the voice was similar. Not quite as threatening as his. Maybe not quite as gruff.
And then the man lowered his hand and his gaze locked on Cutter.
"My name is Jackson Nash and I'm looking for my father. Anyone want to point me in Geoff Jackson's direction?"
Fist. Face. Even if it was his own face. Cutter started forward, only to be met by Eli's shoulder-check and a firm hand wrapped around his bicep.
"Does it look like he's lying to you?" Eli muttered, low and rough, before letting go and turning to face the bastard who went by the name of Jackson. "He's not here. He's not in town. He's in England."
Cutter heard a not-so-delicate snicker coming from over near the door, and spared a menacing glare for the redhead.
"Course he is," she murmured.
"You still haven't said who you are." Cutter's words were a writhing mix of anger and confusion and he didn't spare her any of it. Not as if she was being helpful.
"Me?" She made a show of pressing her hand to the sundress that barely covered her utterly perfect chest. "I'm Nash's sister."
No. Hell, no. "Lady, no one around here ordered a sister."
She moved, pure challenge as her hands went to her hips. Her breasts heaved and he really had to stop looking at them. "Well, you'd hardly order one the same way you'd order pizza, now would you?"
"I'm guessing she's not going to be one of those sweet, docile sisters who bakes cake and puts her brothers on a pedestal," murmured Caleb, with a darkly amused glance in her direction. "Pity."

Loved it!
By Carrie G.
Cutter, Eli and Caleb Jackson suddenly have their world turned upside down when out of nowhere a half brother they never knew they had, Jackson Nash, walks into their world looking for answers and to meet the father he never knew. Jackson could be Cutter’s twin so there is no doubt that he is who he claims he is. Coming along with Jackson for support is his foster sister Mia. When Mia and Cutter meet there is an instant attraction that the two try to push away for the sake of the family.
After thirty years of marriage though, the Jackson boys parents have gone to Europe for an anniversary trip. Not knowing when they’ll be returning Jackson and Mia stick around to get to know the family better and are soon welcomed by everyone while things begin to grow between Mia and Cutter.
A wonderful little story about family with great characters and an engaging plot. Not only do you have a lovely growing romance between Cutter and Mia but watching the family accept Jackson and Mia both after the world they came from with not having families was truly touching.
Great little novella, would definitely recommend.

Cutter and Mia just right for each other!
By PSusan
A Bad Boy for Christmas by Kelly Hunter concerns the third Jackson brother, Cutter Joe. I went back to look the first two brothers stories up since I did not remember the stories being listed as the Australian Jackson Brother Series. For those who may have been unaware of the other brothers’ stories they are: Eli’s – The Honeymoon Trap and Caleb’s - Sympathy for the Devil.
Cutter is the oldest of the brothers and finds love last of the three. It literally walks through the door with very unexpected news. Cutter has the oldest brother thing going on so he needs being put in his place sometimes. I love his relationship with his brothers’ wives and while it seems as if Zoey and Bree is doing a good job of this, Cutter needs true love not just sibling love. The banter between Mia and Cutter is sharp, witty and humorous. In fact, Mia can be a bit like sandpaper when she put her mind to it. I loved these two together, definitely two characters who belong with each other.
There is intrigue, love, and family loyalty. At times it is flirty and fun, other times poignant. All the time it is enjoyable.

Crushing on Cutter
By Book Gannet
This is my first taste of the Jackson Brothers series, and I have to admit that at first I wasn’t convinced. Not because of Cutter, even if he is bossy and arrogant, but because of Mia. In the first chapter she goes out of her way to be irritating and annoying, and there was a moment when I very nearly put this book down.
Thankfully, I didn’t, because despite Mia’s wind-up ways, I really enjoyed this book. It’s full of fast, funny dialogue, some great sibling interactions and then there’s the whole issue with Cutter and his brothers having their whole world turned upside down by the arrival of Nash – a fourth brother, who’s also older.
I think this was what made me fall for Cutter, because he’s always been the older brother until now, when not only does he have to face the fact that there’s another brother out there, but one who is older than him, yet that doesn’t stop him from accepting Nash. In fact, the way he goes about dragging Nash into the family – and getting other members of the family to fall in line – is totally unsubtle, quite a bit bossy and pretty brash, but it shows how much he cares, and I loved that.
Mia is confident and strong-minded and rejects authority automatically, so on the surface she’s the complete opposite of what Cutter should want – and likewise, she shouldn’t want anything to do with him. Yet, somehow, they match perfectly. Once she stops acting like a child – or at least reveals why she’s acting that way – I liked her, and I loved how the pair of them interacted, both when they were trying to resist the attraction and afterwards.
Fast and fun with a nice touch of heat and plenty of family drama, I really enjoyed my first taste of the Jackson men, and it definitely won’t be my last. Luckily there are two previous novels to keep me busy while waiting for Nash’s book.
