Not bad

There's some useful stuff in here, but I don't think it's $9 worth. There's nothing here that you couldn't find reading blogs like Heartiste. Granted, while that blog is better written, you'd spend weeks gathering what this has in one spot.
I will say that some of his examples of things to say go completely contrary to the advice he gives. If you could pull off saying what he suggests to describe being an accountant without violating his "don't be weird" rule (a good rule I might add), you didn't need the book in the first place.

full of tools you need

As a grown man it's hard to accept that you have to learn how to have conversation. Most people are terrible conversationalists, girls included, so don't feel too bad. That's why you have to learn what's in this book. Face it, most times girls either won't or can't move a seduction along via conversation.
This book breaks down having a conversation into small parts. I liken it to learning a sport like basketball. In practice, you drill the basics over and over. The simplest movements eventually become second nature. Only then can you play solid, and when the situation warrants, innovate on the court. This book goes over opening, attraction building, and making a meaningful connection. All the skills you will need to give yourself a good shot with any girl.
I think any man can live with making a strong approach and getting rejected. What he can't live with is seeing pretty girls everyday and knowing he is unprepared to meet them.

Good resource for newbies

I scored this book a while ago and frankly wasn’t expecting much. As I’ve said before, there are only a couple of game resources I recommend—Roosh’s Bang and Day Bang—because they’re so comprehensive and accurate that you don’t need anything else. Given the description of the book, I was expecting The Perfect Conversation to be a retread of Day Bang.
When I cracked the book open, I was pleasantly surprised. While it’s not groundbreaking stuff, The Perfect Conversation is a decent supplement if you’re looking to improve your conversational skills. Jack breaks down approaching girls and talking to them down to a science, telling you how to structure your conversations to make them interested in you as well as what not to do.
While some of the material will be familiar if you’ve read PUA literature (in a minor ding, Jack uses some obsolete PUA terminology like “DHV”), most of the content is original and informative. In an extremely smart move, each chapter is interspaced with “Mike’s Story,” a fictional tale showing you how to put the book’s advice into practice. There are also chapter summaries restating what you just read, which may help some people.
It’s not a flashy or mindblowing book, but if you’re looking for some tips to improve your game, The Perfect Conversation is a good buy.
